As we started to walk my head started to feel a little bit better. I heard a soft whisper beyond my view. I thought it was Mikey talking but when I looked it at him he was the one listening.
“Who—“ I began
“Shush” shushed Ray. I shut up and listened like the rest of them.
“Once we capture the humans, our team will be ready. Then we can take over the world.” Said an eerie voice that gave me a cold shiver down my spine. Mikey moved the branches a little and I saw these hideous creatures. I gulped a little to loud and the things turned our way.
“The humans! Get them, but keep the girl and strong boy alive” the monster queen ordered.
“Great thanks a lot sky!” said Bob.
“It wasn’t my fault! I just reacted.”
We ran all the way to shore and I noticed the water was starting to turn red again
“Any plans Mikey?” I asked desperately.
“None that I know of—“ he hesitated. Gerard was starting to look a little funny.
“Are you o- o- okay Gerard?” I said starting to twitch.
“Um, what time is it?”
“I think it’s time to run,” said Bob, starting to run.
“Mikey come on! What are you doing man?” said Ray.
“No” then he walked over to me
