“Oh no, no this cant be happening, this cant be happening!” I said
“I’m so sorry Mikey but we were to late for Ray” said sky trying to comfort me.
“I promised myself this wouldn’t happen again!” I started to cry. “Ray was my best friend since pre- school. We did everything together. I’m gonna miss him.”
“Three down, three to go,” said Bob
“Thanks for the pep talk bob!” said sky.
“I’m just saying”
“What do you mean 3? Only frank and ray are dead,” I said.
“Gerard’s gone too. He’s a monster remember?” said Bob.
“Well, at least we know what causes the people to become monsters. A cut… even a little one. You get cut, the poison gets sent through your blood stream and you transform, although there may be a specific time that they change” said sky.
“I think I know how to stop thin guys. It was all in a comic book I got when I was eight” I said “but the first thing we need to do is find Gerard. I’ll explain on the way,” I said.
We started running towards the shoreline where we saw Gerard.
“So what is thin mastermind plan of yours?” said bob
“We need to follow Gerard back to the cave ad find the leader, the one who started this all,” I whispered so Gerard wouldn’t hear me.
“And why would we want to find things who want to kill us?” asked bob.
“Because if we kill the leader all the drones go back to normal and w get Gerard back again,” I said, “ T=We need to stick together though. There’s power in numbers, even if there’s only 3 of us”
“ Don’t you mean 4?” it was Ray
“RAY!?!” we all said in unison
“But you - you’re dead!” Bob said sort of scared.
“If I was dead would I be here?” said ray sarcastically
“But you weren’t breathing” said sky
“Really? Weird.” He said
“Yeah” we all said in unison again
“So what’s the plan Mikey?”
“The plan is to kill the queen without being killed” I said. “Now lets follow Gerard, he’s leaving”
