Chapter 8
We’re all dead now
Sky’s POV
“
Why is it all BLOODY???” I screamed. Mikey was in shock. I didn’t blame him.
“You… you need to get away from here… s-- something’s happening to me.” Gerard said
“Gerard, are you okay?” said Mikey, coming out of his trance
“I… I…”he stammered again then I saw something strange. The cut on his face was turning green and slimy.
“Guys, run” I yelled grabbing Mikey by the hand and we all headed for shelter. He was fast on our trail too.
I looked back and saw bob, picking up the sign that said welcome to blood beach on it and putting it in his water proof backpack. I couldn’t go back, and I hoped he would follow our lead and run.
Mikey and I got to a cave and the first thing he said was “we’re all dead now, dead!”
“Don’t worry Mikey we’re safe now.” I said to Mikey.
“Wait, where’s Bob and Ray?” Mikey asked. I shrugged.
“We can’t look for them now. Not with G- monster out there.” I said.
“I won’t loose another friend when I can actually save them.” I love it when Mikey is brave, and he had a point.
“Yeah, I guess” I said
“Come on the coast is clear,” said Mikey. Smiled and led me out.
We walked along a clear path until we saw a large white thing with bobs head sticking out. Ray was across the path in another cocoon, his head drooping.
Ray, Bob, don’t worry we’ll get you out” yelled Mikey. We pulled bob out first. He was happy to be out and helped us get Ray out too. Ray fell to the ground
“Oh no.” said Mikey
Ray was dead.

Chapter 17
Was it real, or just a dream?
Mikey’s POV
I sat straight up, breathing hard. Gerard and bob both woke up at the same times me, realizing what had happened,
“Bob? Did—did you just kill me?”
“I don’t know, wait you saw that too? With the bloody water and frank dying? And ray, just—oh my god.”
“Mikey, you might want to look out the window” said ray
Bob was rustling through his backpack, looking for something urgently
I looked out the window and saw sky holding up a sign that said ‘meet me by the beach NOW!’
And so we al ran to the beach, bob had a slightly scary look on his face like he was hiding something
We got to the beach and we all stood there in silence. Gerard was the first to break it.
“Okay so we all know we had the dream, the real matter is, was it real?”
“I’m sorry to say it Gerard but, its true, look” bob said and then pulled the sign from his backpack. It said welcome to blood beach in scratchy letters and was written on driftwood nailed together by rusty nails.
“So everything that happened really did happen?” said sky.
` “Well sort of” said Gerard, “me and sky only have light scars where got cut, and well, you guys aren’t dead, so really It did happen and everything should go back to normal. But I think that thing is evil, and we should just get rid of it.
“I completely agree Gee, but we should put our mark on it first.
Just sign it, that’s all I ask, then you can throw it in the ocean and we’l never see it again.
And so we did, we all wrote “(insert name here) was here” and some memories we had. Then Gerard threw it into the ocean and we never saw it again. Or so we thought.
