Cassie lied her self on the smooth yet chunky layer of sand she soaked in the suns rays, with her light pink lip gloss sparkling. “Ah,” she said, relaxing on her blanket. “Hey sunshine,” said a familiar voice.
She looked up, lifted her sunglasses and said “hi sweetness. What took you so long?”
He shrugged and said “I went to buy ice cream, then I ate it.” He was lying and she knew it.
She turned and frowned but said in a nice calm voice “ The last you can do is sit with me” and he did. For a while they said nothing. Then Cassie spotted somebody coming up from the water. It was a girl with copper hair and violet eyes.
“Who is that?” he asked.
Cassie looked at her and in despite of herself she said” Probably a very weird girl. She rose up from the water Jeff!” But he could stop himself from going to her, staring at her as he approached. Cassie could she had violet eyes. “Violet eyes and copper hair? Please that’s stupid!” but Cassie knew this girl was very pretty and she hated her.
“Wow she’s… pretty,” He said drifting up to her. Cassie grew angry and surprised.
“Jeff? Where are you going?” Cassie demanded. But he didn’t answer. He just drifted to this girl and said “hi” to her. She didn’t respond back. When Cassie had enough of this she and went to them and said “sorry but he’s with me.”
The girl looked at her, gave a more intense look, her eyes drilling into Cassie’s. Cassie backed away, the girl grabbed Jeff by the arm and pulled and pulled him away
“FINE WERE THRIOUGH!” Cassie screamed as the girl pulled Jeff away.

The sun was setting and there was still no sign of Jeff- not that Cassie had been searching for him, but it was pretty obvious she was worried.
She scanned the water line and sand combined but saw no one, only something sticking out f the sand. She couldn’t make out what it was so she walked over to get a closer look.
The sun had almost set when she got to the object. There was just enough light to see it briefly. You’d never believe it but it almost looked like a hand. This made her frightened, but she was still curious.
She finally reached it and saw very clearly it was a hand. Cassie squirmed at the sight but reached for it anyway. She started to pull at it and revealed an arm. It looked so unreal, she thought; maybe it’s just a toy. She pulled harder revealing her once live boyfriend’s entire body. The stench was unbearable and his body was melted, as if someone has spilt hydrochloric acid on his face.
Suddenly she saw bubbles forming in the water and something rising from it. It as the girl they had seen before, beautiful copper hair and violet eyes. Then she changed completely. Her tan skin turned to green scales; her copper hair fell out, only leaving a crown of red hair and her eyes shined red. She approached her with a hungry look in her eyes
Cassie Stammered away, swamped with fear but she stumbled to the ground. The monster gave cassie the deepest gash in her leg and dove back into the sea. cassi felt a change in body and spirit. She turned togreen skales and her blue yes turned to deep red. she dove in aftermthe girl., feeling the need for human blood.
